The Goal

As a household name in Australia and New Zealand, Hyundai has strong brand awareness within the market. However, they wanted to lift their social exposure to increase awareness and consideration of their new models and continued advancements.

The brand had a strong back-catalogue of existing assets but were under pressure to produce fresh social ads with fast turnaround times. Previous agency partners weren’t achieving the desired standard and in-house capabilities were stretched.

Hyundai required social ad creative that supported other brand activity, with a goal of lead generation resulting in increased test drives.

VMG used a vertical format for each of the creative ads, creating multiple opportunities to tell the story in an interesting and engaging way. Optimised for mobile, this approach allowed us to effectively communicate the message in a short timeframe to maintain the viewer’s attention and give them the content they want.
